Prices for Quaker Wedding Certificates

All certificates include your text and decoration, a lightly penciled grid for your guest's signatures, a pen for them to use (the ink is light-fast, waterproof and non-acidic) and a kneadable eraser with which to erase the grid. I use acid-free paper and pigment-based, lightfast, archival ink for the lettering, and the finest watercolors for the decoration.

I usually save my drawings from each certificate. If I am able to reuse a drawing then the cost will be less.

I do not need a deposit but I will require payment when I start on your certificate. I will e-mail you a few days before hand. I usually have some questions for you and will send you an email with a photo of a practice or mock up of your certificate. At that time I will confirm your final price and you may send your check.

Standard Circle or Omega Certificate...............Done completely by hand $250.00

A standard circle or omega certificate consists of up to 175 words enclosed in a lush ring or omega of flowers and 3 to 5 decorated initials.

Standard Certificate with Floral Top or Landscape Painting across the top or bottom......Done completely by hand $200.00

This certificate consists of a floral top or landscape painting across the top or bottom, up to 175 words, and 3 to 5 decorated initials.

Standard Certificate with top and side swags...Done completely by hand $225.00

This certificate consists of up to 175 words, a floral (or other) vine draped across the top and down the sides to the level of the couple's signatures, and 3 to 5 decorated initials.

Standard Certificate with floral arch and spray............Done completely by hand $180.00

This certificate consists of up to 175 words, a floral arch that extends to the level of the couple's names, 3 to 5 decorated initials and a large spray of flowers.

Standard Certificate with large, leafy or floral arch.......Done completely by hand $225.00

This certificate has the entire text area surrounded by a large decorative arch. It has up to 175 words and 3 to 5 decorated initials.

Standard Certificate with decoration down the entire left side

Like the others, this one has up to 175 words. The price for this is as follows: $.60 per word + $15.00/hour for the large side painting + $30.00 set-up. If this isn't clear, contact me and I will try to explain.

 

 

 

Standard Craftsman Certificate.....Done completely by hand $200.00

This has up to 175 words and is decorated like the Clark/Nydham certificate. It includes 3 - 5 large decorated initials plus large decorated 1st. initials of each name (first, middle, and last)

Computer printed decoration, hand lettered text......$150.00

Decoration and text printed is available with this style for $125.00 (name initials are done by hand.)

 

Standard Certificate with Scrollwork ("Victorian")................ $.60 per word + $30.00 set-up

This can have as many words as you like. With it you get the scrollwork decoration as in the Wienhold-Bartlett certificate and large decorated initials.

 

Two Trees or William Blake style Certificate.......Done completely by hand $225.00

This certificate consists of up to 175 words, with two trees (mirrored left and right) or Blake's trees (drawn asymetrically) as decoration.

Just the Facts Certificate

This is just what it says. You get your names, date and place plus your choice of Arch and Spray (shown to the left), Landscape, or Floral Top decorative styles. You are limited to 5 different kinds of flowers and/or leaves.

Old legal documents often had a ribbon woven across the bottom of the paper.

This ancient tradition has been given a new twist with our decorative papers
